Now on version 2016.2 (recently released in final form), Redfish work to date has focused on defining a TCP/IP-based out-of-band interface between a client and a management controller.

DMTF’s Simple Identity Management Profile (DSP1034) has been adopted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS). Published as Information Technology - Management of Security Credentials (INCITS 539-2016), this is the latest milestone in the continued international utilization of DMTF standards.

DMTF Announces Executive Officers
At its July meeting in Portland, Ore., the DMTF Board of Directors appointed executive officers to lead the organization as it continues to create and drive the international adoption of interoperable management standards.
