DMTF Releases Redfish 2017.3
DMTF’s aggressive development of Redfish® continues, with Version 2017.3 now available. The goal of Redfish is to publish a standard API to meet customer demands for simple and secure management in modern Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments, and the latest release includes updates to both the Specification and the Schemas.
DMTF Releases CIM 2.50
The latest release of the Common Information Model (CIM) Schema, version 2.50 is now available. This news marks an impressive DMTF milestone - fifty updates to the Common Information Model (CIM) since the launch of 2.0.
This widely-used standard provides a common definition of management information for systems, networks, applications and services. The fifty releases are evidence of DMTF’s ongoing commitment to keeping CIM up-to-date to address the latest industry needs.
DMTF and Broadband Forum Form Alliance
DMTF and Broadband Forum (BBF) have formed an alliance to help ensure the two organizations’ standards are coordinated and aligned in order to enable broadband operators and users to deploy cloud services and applications.
New Redfish® Open Source Software on GitHub
Continuing its open approach to the development of the Redfish® standard, DMTF has released new open source tools for testing, validation and other areas on its public GitHub repository.

DMTF to Present Redfish Tutorial at IEEE/ACM International Conference on Utility and Cloud Computing
At the upcoming IEEE/ACM International Conference on Utility and Cloud Computing (UCC 2017), in Austin, Texas, DMTF President Jeff Hilland will present a tutorial on DMTF’s Redfish®.
