Now on version 2016.2 (recently released in final form), Redfish work to date has focused on defining a TCP/IP-based out-of-band interface between a client and a management controller.

DMTF has released the latest version of the Cloud Infrastructure Management Interface (CIMI) standard, version 2.0. In addition, an up-to-date version of the CIMI Primer, which reviews common scenarios of consumer-provider interactions in CIMI, is also available for download.
