DMTF to Participate in Tokyo’s ITPro Expo Cloud Days 2012

DMTF’s Japanese Subcommittee will be participating in the ITPro Expo Cloud Days 2012, one of the largest cloud events in Japan with more than 60,000 participants. This event will explore how the Cloud is rapidly becoming the foundation of corporate IT system, as many companies are taking advantage of the scalability and flexibility that the cloud provides. Attendees will learn how to address new challenges in the cloud era and how to respond to this emerging trend.

Panel: Cloud Computing Management – How Complex Is It? – Cloud Computing provides consumers with highly agile and cost-effective computing power usages. However, cloud computing systems management can be more complex than ever before. This panel will discuss how to manage the cloud accurately and efficiently, with a focus on standardization.

Overview Presentation: Cloud Infrastructure Management Interface (CIMI) – In this presentation, DMTF’s Mr. Ryuiichi Ogawa will provide attendees with an overview of the recently released CIMI specification, a self-service interface for operations between cloud service providers, developers and consumers – allowing for more effective and elastic cloud services.
