Dell Joins DMTF Board of Directors
PORTLAND, Ore. – May 28, 2014 – DMTF, the organization bringing the IT industry together to collaborate on the development, validation and promotion of infrastructure management standards, today announced that Dell joins the DMTF Board of Directors.
As a member of the DMTF, Dell has been an active leader in the organization since DMTF’s inception in 1992. Dell’s long-term and ongoing commitment to manageability standards will be beneficial to the DMTF as it continues its work to enable interoperable, industry-wide IT management across a diverse set of platforms.
Continuing the diversity of perspectives on DMTF’s Board, Dell joins 15 other technology companies from around the globe, including: Broadcom Corporation; CA Technologies; Cisco; Citrix Systems, Inc.; Fujitsu; Hitachi, Ltd.; HP; Intel Corporation; Microsoft Corporation; NetApp; Oracle; SoftwareAG; SunGard Availability Services; Telecom Italia and VMware, Inc.
