DMTF Welcomes New Executive Officers
PORTLAND, Ore. – September 2, 2014 – DMTF, an industry standards organization working to simplify the manageability of network-accessible technologies through open and collaborative efforts by leading technology companies, today announced its new team of executive officers.
Appointed by the DMTF’s Board of Directors at its July meeting, the following representatives will lead the organization, serving a one-year term. Officers in a new position include:
Chair of the Board – Jon Hass, Dell
Vice-Chair of the Board – Colleen Evans, Microsoft Corporation
Senior Vice President – Hemal Shah, Broadcom Corporation
Vice President of Alliances – John Leung, Intel Corporation
Vice President of Finance – Larry Lamers, VMware, Inc.
Vice President of Interoperability and Vice President of Marketing – Bob Freund, Hitachi, Ltd.
Officers appointed to another term serving the DMTF in their current role include:

Executive Director and Secretary – Kes Wold, Wold Consulting
Vice President of Regional Chapters – Yinghua Qin, Dell
Vice President of Technology – Hemal Shah, Broadcom Corporation
“The DMTF is pleased to have such high-quality executive officers from the industry’s leading companies to help guide our work to simplify the manageability of network-accessible technologies,” said Jeff Hilland, president, DMTF. “We would like to offer our thanks to outgoing officers Shishir Pardikar and Troy Biegger for their dedication and service to the organization, and a special note of gratitude to Winston Bumpus, who has served the DMTF in the role of either president or chair of the board for more than 16 years.”
“As I step down from an executive position in the DMTF, but remain on the Board, I look forward to the leadership of our impressive slate of officers,” said Winston Bumpus, president emeritus, DMTF. “I remain committed to the important work of the organization, and I’m happy to see it in such capable hands.”
