Recently, on behalf of the Cloud Management Working Group, Mark Carlson presented a demo on DMTF’s Cloud Infrastructure Management Interface at the OpenStack Summit in Tokyo, Japan. Since its adoption as an International Organization for Standardization standard last spring, CIMI has gained ongoing popularity. With help from Texas Tech University and its Cloud and Autonomic Computing Center, the OpenStack Nova Infrastructure as a Service project can now take advantage of this standard interface.
