Posted on Wed, 08/03/2016 - 21:00
Attending the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco this month? Look for the DMTF Redfish™ booth #829 August 16-18 at the Moscone Center West. Redfish is developed by the DMTF’s Scalable Platforms Management Forum (SPMF). SPMF members will be on hand to answer questions about the Redfish API and the latest deliverables.
Designed to reduce vendor lock-in and increase the productivity of system administrators, the Redfish API is an open industry standard specification and schema that helps enable simple, secure and interoperable management of modern scalable platform hardware. By specifying a RESTful interface and utilizing JSON and OData, Redfish helps customers integrate solutions within their existing tool chains. Broad industry collaboration and an aggressive development schedule is quickly advancing Redfish toward its goal of addressing manageability of all the components in the data center with a consistent API.
Stop by DMTF booth #829 to learn more about Redfish and what’s coming next.
