Software AG Joins DMTF Board of Directors
PORTLAND, Ore. – September 24, 2013– Distributed Management Task Force, Inc. (DMTF), the organization bringing the IT industry together to collaborate on the development, validation and promotion of infrastructure management standards, today announced that Software AG has been elected to the DMTF Board of Directors.
Based in Darmstadt, Germany, with U.S. headquarters in Reston, Va., Software AG helps organizations achieve their business objectives faster through big data, integration and business process technologies. Further expanding DMTF’s global presence in the IT industry, Software AG joins 16 other industry-leading technology companies from around the globe, including: Broadcom Corporation; CA Technologies; Cisco; Citrix Systems, Inc.; Fujitsu; Hitachi, Ltd.; HP; Huawei; IBM; Intel Corporation; Microsoft Corporation; NetApp; Oracle; SunGard Availability Services; Telecom Italia and VMware, Inc.
